October is National Fire Safety Month, a time when we recognize the importance of proactive fire prevention — not only in homes, but also in the spaces where people live, work, and gather. This month, our Columbia, TN branch began work on an exciting new project in partnership with EMBREY, a nationally recognized developer known for its thoughtful design and community-focused multifamily properties. The project — Cantara at Legacy Pointe — is a 350-unit multifamily community coming to Spring Hill, Tennessee, located within the growing Legacy Pointe development.
Fire Protection for a Growing Community
Preventia Security is overseeing the fire alarm installation for the entire property, which includes 19 residential buildings, a leasing office, and the amenity clubhouse. Our team is currently in the rough-in phase, with three buildings already under construction.
Project Manager Wayne shared that our technicians Hayden and Cory are doing a great job keeping up with EMBREY’s schedule. Each building is allotted five days to complete the fire alarm rough-in — and the Preventia team has consistently finished in three to four days, staying ahead of schedule.
We’re installing Notifier fire alarm equipment, a trusted industry standard known for reliability and performance, and we’ve also supplied Knox Boxes for the property to ensure quick emergency access for first responders.
