Brad’s tenure with Preventia has been marked by an unwavering commitment to excellence, over two decades of industry expertise, and a steadfast dedication to team development. Starting as a technician right after high school, Brad’s journey has been built on a foundation of hands-on experience, from attics to crawl spaces, wiring and programming security systems that protect homes and businesses across the Southeast.

Brad’s new role as Vice President will see him continue to work closely with Whitaker, bridging the strategic vision with day-to-day operations. Under his leadership, Preventia has experienced exponential growth, including a 10X increase in the number of homes and businesses served since 2017, along with consistent revenue expansion. Additionally, Preventia has expanded into six markets across the Southeast, marking this growth with multiple industry accolades such as being named twice to the Inc. 5000 (2020, 2018) and earning Partner of the Year awards from leading industry partners including Brivo and Eagle Eye.

In addition to his work at Preventia, Brad has contributed greatly to his local community. As Head Coach at Santa Fe High School and Middle School, Brad led both teams to unprecedented success, bringing home championships, setting records, and making the first-ever state tournament appearance in the school’s history in 2024. He was honored as the 2024 Class A Coach of the Year by the Basketball Coaches Association of Tennessee.
Brad’s coaching achievements include:
- Santa Fe Middle School Coach (2016-2020) with 2 championships (2016, 2020)
- Santa Fe High School Coach (2018-2024) with the first Region Championship (2022) and first State Tournament appearance (2024)
- 2024 BCAT Class A Coach of the Year
